Zorge Bridge

The bridge over the Zorge River connected the camp rail station with the railroad network of the Reichsbahn.

Five massive concrete pillars surrounded by trees.

Multiple tens of thousands of concentration camp inmates crossed the bridge over the Zorge in freight and cattle cars. Transports to the subcamps also went across this bridge. Freight from Mittelwerk also passed this route.

After the rail lines were dismantled in the 1950s, only the concrete pillars of the bridge remained.
