Inquiring about a person

Due to a change of personnel, the Documentation Centre (archive and library) of the Mittelbau-Dora Memorial will be temporarily closed from 1 April 2024 until further notice. Enquiries received by the Documentation Centre regarding the clarification of fate and the use of archive materials can only be processed once the position has been filled again. We will provide information on the date of reopening here in due course. We hope for your understanding!

The majority of the extant Mittelbau-Dora concentration camp files are now in the holdings of the Arolsen Archives, International Center on Nazi Persecution (formerly International Tracing Service) in Bad Arolsen. Digital copies of these documents also form the basis of our research about individuals.
