Online Photo Archive

After 1945, the photographic images of Mittelbau-Dora were scattered around the world. After many years of research in Germany and abroad, the photos were systematically collected, evaluated, and digitally indexed.

The Mittelbau-Dora Online Photo Archive presents a selection of 500 of the altogether 1,700 inventoried historical photos from the collection's holdings.

Our efforts to expand our photographic holdings are ongoing. If you have historical photographs from the period of the camps’ operation or the early history of the memorial site, please contact our documentation centre.
