From the fall of 1946, the barracks of the Mittelbau camps were dismantled and used for the reconstruction of the surrounding villages. The tunnel in the Kohnstein was blown up.

We mourn the loss of Joseph Spring (1927-2025), a survivor of the Auschwitz and Mittelbau-Dora concentration camps. He died in Melbourne on 8 January this year, just before his 98th birthday.
