SS Shelter

This concrete building was used as a guard post at the camp entrance and as a shelter during air raids.

The shelter was reconstructed for the memorial site in 1974. However, the building was incorrectly identified as a "standing cell" used by the camp Gestapo. After 1990,  this mistake was corrected.
